High-Flow V8 Air Box

Engine swaps and high-performance V8 builds demand an intake system capable of supporting increased airflow without sacrificing filtration or serviceability.

The Torfab High-Flow V8 Air Box was designed specifically for V8-powered Land Cruiser applications, featuring a large-capacity filter and a forward-facing 45-degree outlet that simplifies intake tube routing in crowded engine bays.

Unlike many universal air filter solutions, this air box provides a clean, enclosed design while maintaining excellent airflow characteristics. The angled outlet allows for a more direct path to the throttle body, reducing intake plumbing complexity and making it an excellent choice for LS, LT, and other V8 conversion projects.

This air box utilizes a readily available 2001 Duramax air filter, providing exceptional filtration capacity and easy replacement with parts available at virtually any auto parts store.

Snorkel Compatibility

Our air boxes utilize an open-to-the-fender design and can be configured for high-flow snorkel applications.

A custom snorkel plate can be supplied upon request for customers building a dedicated snorkel system. Additional charges apply for the custom plate. Final fabrication and integration with the chosen snorkel system are the responsibility of the customer, as fitment requirements vary by vehicle and snorkel manufacturer.

Important Notes

• Intake noise will increase compared to the factory air box.

• Right-hand-drive vehicles may require relocation of the cruise control module and/or power distribution components to provide adequate clearance.

Final fabrication and integration with the chosen snorkel system are the responsibility of the customer, as fitment requirements vary by vehicle and snorkel manufacturer.  One thing to note, most available snorkels are a choke point to a high flow airbox negating the benefit, keep in mind that you would want a Moonlight fab 4" snorkel to get any real benefit utilizing this box.
